Common questions
What if I already have hosting? No problem – care plans can run on your existing hosting, covering updates, backups, and support. Or I can migrate you; migration is included free with any care plan.
How do content edits work? Business and Commerce plans include a monthly block of edit time – send changes by email and they are usually done within 2 business days. Unused time does not roll over; bigger changes get a quick quote first.
Do mailbox plans include Google or Microsoft licenses? No. You keep paying Google or Microsoft for the seats. The $20 plan is the retainer for keeping mail working – SPF/DKIM/DMARC, user and alias changes, and send/receive help. Need the first hookup? Start with the $80 business email setup.
What does domain registration cover? One standard .com or .net, renewal included, plus a few DNS changes when the site or mail needs them. Other extensions and premium names are quoted separately. The $80 domain setup covers the labor to register or transfer and point DNS the first time.
Can I cancel? Yes, anytime, from the Hosting tab in your account – no phone calls, no guilt trips. Your site files and content are always yours, and I will help you move them if you leave.
What does “uptime monitoring” mean? Your site is checked automatically around the clock. If it goes down, I am notified and on it – usually before you or your customers notice.
